Lead Field Engineer for Task Force XXI Fielding and Execution, Brigade TOC Fielding, and ADSI-AMDWS Interface Testing, responsible for integration of SUN (Solaris), PC (Win NT/95 & MSDOS), and SGI (IRIX) workstations into “Tactical Internet” via Ethernet, Packet Radio, and Wireless LAN, utilizing Cisco Routers (2514, 4000, 4500), and tactical and commercial radios and modems. Lead Field Engineer for USS. Mt. Whitney and USS John Stennis, and JTFEX 97-2. Responsible for designing and implementing a network capable of passing real time “Mission Critical Data” to multiple points on board each ship as well as to fixed ground stations ashore, utilizing Satellite Communications equipment, packet radio, and P.O.T.S.
