About David Telford
While I've always had a penchant for technical things, before DevMountain I had been more of a tinkerer than a coder. I built two websites as a teenager, and while I didn't actually use anything more than vanilla HTML, they did give me an opportunity to express my creative side. In the meanwhile, I mostly focused my time on writing. Fantasy writing (and writing in general!) remains my most enduring love, and it's also perhaps the biggest reason I didn't pursue web development sooner. While I have no plans to give up writing, I have been surprised by how much writing prepared me for web development.When I'm developing, I build my code to be as performant and scaleable as possible.
