Worked with (amongst many others) Diz Disley, Stephane Grappelli, Martin Taylor, Nigel Kennedy, Rod Argent, Peter Skellern, Fred Wedlock and a whole bunch more.Written for the following mags: Melody Maker, Music World, Sound on Sound, Home and Studio Recording, Keyboard (US), Keyboard Player, Music Mart, Making Music, Total Music, Recording Musician, Music Trade News, Music Trade Gazette (I may have missed out a few...). I was double bass columnist for Bass Guitar Magazine, as well as reviewing instruments and equipment 2012-17.I look after the Atari forum on Sound on Sound's website and also the Yahoo Kurzweil 1000 users group.Specialties: M.D. of The West Midland Light Orchestra 2007-2017. I led the bass section of the Chandos Symphony Orchestra 1990-2015, coached the bass section of the National Schools Symphony Orchestra, and play six string fretted and fretless basses in jazz groups, and theatre shows.Completed M.A. in Musicology at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Summer 2017.

In 1995 I composed a Soundtrack for Welsh Water's educational section that was remade in 1997 into a two part educational programme for Channel 4 : 'Riverflight' - a trip down the river Usk in Gwent from source to the sea. This was nominated for an award.
