Tasked with rebuilding the HR function of this greenfield facility with annual sales of $80 million. Leading management in transitioning to union approach with certification in 2017. Train & coach management team, lead role in all labor relations matters; with focus on removing barriers to achieving operational timelines. Drive improvements in communications, trust, consistency in policy administration and employee/labor relations. Administer compensation, health/welfare plans.• Labor relations – manage all aspects of labor in CBA administration, grievance resolution.• Talent attraction – recruit/hire key staff roles for facility production launch with aggressive timeframe.• Compliance – ensure employment actions are legal and comply with corporate policy.• Benefits & payroll – establish support/education to ensure employees understand platforms & plans function properly, payroll is executed accurately, timely & in accordance with CBA.• Workers compensation – mitigate risk by instituting case management (improve provision of care, TPA oversight), ensure RTW is timely and appropriate, close claims nominally.
