With eight years of valuable work experience in the welding and construction industries, along with two years as a School Safety Officer for Seminole County Public Schools, I am now embarking on an exciting career transition into the cybersecurity field. Recently, I successfully completed Google's prestigious Cybersecurity Professional certificate, and I am currently dedicated to studying for the CompTIA Security+ certificate, further enhancing my knowledge and skills in the cybersecurity domain. I am happy to announce I have taken one step further towards this goal by securing a position as a Service Desk Analyst with Tyto Athene under their Customs and Border Protection Contract. I have already learned so much in this role and look forward to learning more as I grow in this role serving the agents and support personnel of Customs and Border Protection, other Department of Homeland Security agencies and partner government agencies.During my time as a welder/fabricator in the aerospace and theme park industries, I honed a detail-oriented and analytical mindset that I carry into everything I undertake. My previous work provided an excellent platform for fostering teamwork and collaboration, as I actively participated in various projects, ensuring their timely completion. Additionally, I took on the role of mentoring apprentice ironworkers, assisting newcomers in developing their skills and adapting to the trade.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated exceptional team collaboration, effective time management, and strong leadership qualities, which have significantly contributed to the success of numerous projects. My role as a School Safety Officer further fortified my security mindset and ability to accomplish objectives even in highly stressful environments.
