Led a team of 11 Engineers creating applications to mitigate phishing attacks by searching the web for Phishkits and using machine learning / artificial intelligence (Tensorflow) to match these kits to previous phishing campaigns.Oversaw team of four creating a microservice to facilitate logging throughout the rest of the core application over 10,000 logs per second.

Led Media Monitoring, Rapid Response project, staffed by eighteen engineers across three teams in Charleston, SC, and Stuttgart, Germany.Built data ingest system covering 20+ social media sources. Used ML / AI sentiment analysis model to gauge reaction to US interactions in Eastern Europe after Russian annexation of Crimea.Managed the Internal Research and Development Lab build-out. Created a local IRaD lab to support technical showcase, DevOps R&D, and Big Data processing. Led five projects for Engility Charleston Engineering Services, including the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), and HME (Home-Made Explosives). Oversaw thirty-eight software engineers and four managers in support of these projects.Served as Tactical Lead on VBMS, a $42 million per year contract with the Veterans Administration and SPAWAR Atlantic. Oversaw development and implementation of distributed architecture to support 20,000 concurrent users.Resulting application reduced Claim Backlog from 650,000 to 220,000 veteran claims within the first two years, while ingesting 10,000 new claims per day.VBMS is the VA’s most successful project in history and SPAWAR’s largest, most successful software project.Served as Technical Lead on GCSS, logistics application for the Marine Corps, a $10m annual contract.
