This enabled me to develop my skills in web design, web management, financial planning and budgets, web admin, web content, stock control, data manipulation, report generation, use of databases, customer service, marketing, and specialist software applications such as channel advisor, eBay and Amazon. During its first full year my stores managed to generate 10% gross sales revenue for the companies ‘Walktall’ Brand, generating over £180,000 revenue in the first twelve months. I managed to streamline warehousing and customer service operations allowing a lower number of dedicated staff for my operations, as well as expanding our overall brand knowledge and customer retention on new marketplaces, increasing our overall customer subscription levels. I implemented and managed advanced software automation allowing huge volumes of stock creation and online content with maximum efficiency, managing to reduce costs by half after the first eight months operations, and increasing our profit margins. This also allowed streamlined customer service through to warehouse distribution operations allowing same day despatch for 95% of my online sales, meaning most orders were received to the door within 24hrs of placing the order. Overall I believe this demonstrates my skills and passion for E-Commerce and management in general and I have several years’ experience in this area.
