Reporting directly to the Managing Director, liaising across all disciplines within the company (including construction management, architectural design, landscape design, sales & marketing, and finance), and leading on development site appraisal and carbon performance.My role comprises a number of activities including:• Site finding and opportunity identification.• Financial development appraisals, and subsequent board reports. Managing and delivering built environment and sustainability consultancy services focusing on the generation of operational cost efficiencies, the mitigation of risk from current and future legislation, and the enhancement of the environmental credentials of built assets and property portfolios.• Business development, pitching and bidding to a wide variety of clients for the provision of energy efficiency services and built environment sustainability consultancy.• Delivery of portfolio sustainability analysis services, including portfolio energy purchasing and brokerage, risk analysis of exposure to current and future legislative developments.• Management of sub-contractor technical delivery teams to ensure robust project performance and client satisfaction.• Financial, contractual and client relationship management, and delivery supply chain project management.

Principal role within the WYG national Sustainability team, with team performance, financial control and quality assurance responsibilities.Providing sustainable design, construction and strategy consultancy services to major corporations, developers, architects and contractors, to meet specific requirements for aspirational ‘High Environmental Performance’ developments, planning applications, and public / private funding conditions.• BREEAM (all methodologies), CEEQUAL and DREAM assessment and consultancy services.• Sustainable procurement and logistics strategies.• Sustainability Statements (planning) and Sustainability Appraisal of development proposals.• Carbon Balance Analysis for major windfarm developments.• NHER SAP Domestic Energy Assessment and compliance.• Full team management, financial control and reporting to senior management for all regional projects.• Business development, marketing, and service sales.
