FAA CFR 14 Part 121. Regional carrier. CRJ 200/700/900 Designated Line Check Airman / Captain / First Officer. As a Designated Line Check Airman I am a representative of the FAA to SkyWest Airlines. It is my duty to conduct FDO (FAA/DLCA Observation) and CSO (Check Airman Standardization Observation) flight checks on upgrading Captains and other Line Check Airman. When a First Officer is upgrading to a Captain, that individual needs a inflight line check given by the FAA to verify the basic fundamentals of being a Captain (commandabiIity, safety consciousness, etc.) And occasionally Line Check Airman may require a proficiency check. I still retain the title of Line Check Airman which trains upgrading First Officers to Captains and new hire First Officers. Added to I took part of the LOSA program developed in house by the Safety Department. Also, assisted the Director of Aircraft Operations with revisions to the Flight Operations Manual and Weight and Balance Manual in compliance with ATOS and the local FAA CMO.

The program assisted in training First Officers for simulator support for the Captain students. However, while there, I attended multiple operations classes such as International CAT II ops, Weather / Wind Shear, EGPWS, CFIT, ETOPS and RVSM.

As a Flight Dispatcher (Crew Schedular FAR 121) verified the flight crews were in compliance with 14 CFR Part 91 / 135. That all flights assigned were properly staffed with legal flight crews. Also worked extensively with customer service and travel departments.

As an aircraft mechanic, performed daily maintenance checks and also major remove and replace items on the SAAB 340b aircraft. Released aircraft out "on line" in a timely and safe manner to assure airline schedule reliability.

Verified that all flight crews were in accordance with FAA 14 CFR Part 121 flight time, rest and duty regulations.
