Recruited to Axwell Technical Services to take up the dual role of Test/Commissioning & Customer Care Engineer on domestic new build sites/properties.This role requires a broad based understanding, technical knowledge & experience of domestic plumbing & heating systems. It also demands a very flexible approach to working whilst being a team player and being able to provide customer focus to ensure that the company delivers the best possible service at all times.

Recruited to Scottish Gas as a fully qualified plumbing & heating engineer in the servicing and repair of domestic gas appliances. I was fortunate enough to have gained Technical Gas Engineer status and invaluable working experience & knowledge of domestic gas appliances & the industry.

As the Lead Plumbing & Heating Engineer, I was responsible for a small team whilst ensuring all works were carried out as per the water bylaws and gas safe regulations. In this role I covered all aspects of plumbing & heating from strip out / find & fix to full new installation, gas work-hobs, cookers, boiler installation, service, repair and landlord safety certification.

After leaving Scottish Water through voluntary redundancy. I served a 2nd full adult apprenticeship to become a fully qualified domestic plumbing and heating engineer, during which time I worked on domestic new build, commercial new build, maintenance and participated on emergency stand by.

Responsible for managing all aspects and the safe economic delivery of multiple water main rehabilitation projects involving open cut, pipe busting, slip/epoxy/structural thermoset CIPP lining and directional drilling techniques.

Various roles as Contract Agent managing multiple contracts awarded to the former Scottish Water Contracting.
