As a co-founder and CEO of NextMinute, my mission is to make business life easier for construction and trades businesses by managing pricing, planning, people, and profits. Having seen the pain endured by my residential builder and tradesperson friends, I knew that they deserved a fit-for-purpose software solution that didn't require them to be a large corporate. I co-founded NextMinute with Michael Falconer and Simon Greenwood in 2016 to develop a simple-to-use job management system specifically targeted at small to mid-sized residential construction and trades businesses.With a background in enterprise governance and project management software, I knew that these types of businesses didn't need the cost and complexity of bigger solutions but required more features than simple products designed for field services. Our product is tailored to meet the unique needs of these 4-40 person companies that represent the bulk of the residential construction industries globally.We understand the pain points these businesses faced, including relying on accountants and bookkeepers to make timely financial and business decisions. That's why we developed a product that seamlessly collaborates between the bookkeeper and the business, cutting out unnecessary data duplication and error-prone manual processes. Our solution provides unprecedented visibility on costs and profits, making it easier for hardworking business owners to focus on what matters most to them - their relationships, family, friends and having fun!Together, we are simplifying the residential construction industry and empowering business owners to achieve the profits they deserve.
