• Opened and managed a loan origination and servicing office which grew from 2 to 5 professionals in 1 1/2 years. Direct subsidiary of Emigrant Bank, a New York headquartered privately owned savings bank with $10 billion of assets. • Originations totaled over $1.5 billion from over 50 transactions, mostly senior secured real estate mortgage loans and some real estate corporate credits. Personal originations were approximately half, with responsibility for origination, negotiation, documentation, closing and portfolio management. • Projects included office, retail, hotel, industrial, for sale residential and industrial condominiums and apartments; construction and acquisition, reposition/bridge. • Personally responsible for all remedial management since late 2007 resulting in par payoff of several severely classified loans and many restructure/extensions including additional equity and repricing to market. • Responsible for over $100 million in new business/refinancing in 2012 in retail, office and hotel properties.

Projects included construction, bridge and reposition. • Investment vehicles included an investment fund comprised of small financial institutions and high net worth investors; ventures with large opportunity funds and single asset investments with high net worth investors. • The Investment Fund realized a 27% gross IRR, 18% net to investors, in excess of its targeted return. • Member of the Investment Committee. Also responsible for investor reporting.

Managed from foreclosure until sale over 5 million square feet of office, retail, mixed use, multi-family residential and industrial real estate with professional staff in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas. Maximized recoveries by actively and aggressively asset managing each property, enhancing value by leasing, improved operations and capital expenditures.• Formed and led a team of 10 U.S. professionals consulting to Citibank Mexico in the remediation/disposal of a $1.2 billion portfolio of residential, resort hotel, golf course, retail, office and special purpose properties located in major cities throughout Mexico.Vice President/Area Director• Managed real estate construction and term loan portfolio in Southwestern/Western United States of up to $2.5 billion in commitments during the 1980’s with annual originations averaging $750 million.
