Initially hired by Indepth Data Corp. which specialized in distresssed debt maket data to create a real-time news operation. as Editor in Chief and VP of company built three-bureau real-time news and analysis unit and newsletter operation covering all corporate bond market. In 1997 it was bought by Dow Jones as part of project to recreate its Telerate unit. Year later DJ abandoned Telerate project and sold the division to Bridge Data, which eventually went bankrupt. However, during ths period DJ brought me back to their news team to take over coverage of asset-backed sector.

Hired to cover fixed income markets, became Fed watcher for six years, served four years as New York Commodities News Editor serving during period of Hunt effort to corner silver market and launch of energy trading market. Helped expand and run Reuters' growing money news reporting unit. Launched Reuters coverage of Canadian money markets and created various new products, procedures and relationships to help Reuters during period of fierce competition with Telerate News Agency.
