David is currently an Associate at Nerland Lindsey LLP, a premier mid-market business law firm. His current focus/area of practice is in corporate/commercial law, including securities and tax. While articling with Nerland Lindsey LLP, David conducted legal research and drafted memoranda of law, motion material, affidavits and pleadings, along with draft transactional documents and facilitated corporate transactions. Finally, David also drafted Wills, Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives. Previously to articling at Shea Nerland, David was a summer student with the firm from May to August of 2012 where he primarily drafted memoranda, contracts, pleadings; reviewed corporate financial statements, negotiated disputes and filed documents at court.
