Secured funding required to start a small loans business, assembled a team of loan officers to facilitate issuing loans, and developed strategies for marketing services.Established the necessary financial infrastructure to process loan payments, dispense funds to loan officers, and hold investor cash reserves.

Manage the fund's accounts, coordinate the voting process, and assist in the new shareholder interview process.Execute trades through the fund's brokerage account, process the funds of incoming and outgoing shareholders, and manage spreadsheets that track membership, trading activity, voting results, and shareholder equity in the fund. Our organization manages a portfolio of stocks selected by shareholders. Our shareholders and other members can pitch a stock they have selected for purchase to the rest of the group. The group will then go through a voting process to determine whether or not to purchase the stock, how much to purchase, how to purchase, and when selling should be considered.

Conducted research on mining properties held by junior mining companies, primarily in Canada and the United States. Examined the mining properties on a fundamentals basis in order to establish their economic viability if they were to become active mines. Researched base metals mining practices and related markets in order to better understand the supply, demand, and other fundamentals in the industry.

Researched the sustainability of companies alongside nine other students under the guidance of Dr. Dorothy Paun. We worked to establish a relationship between the level of sustainability within a corporation and their financial performance. And, in the process, we collected both financial and environmental data through utilizing the current GRI guidelines.
