In this job I would meet many different customers, some would be very important people and some would be your normally every day customers. I would do my best to make sure they all received the same high standards in service that was expected.My duties included providing a good service at the bar, preparing drinks for the customers who are at the bar and also, for the waitresses and waiters. I would have to clean the bar at the end of every shift to a certain standard. I would also have to cash up the till at the end of my shift making sure it balanced, then I would take the days takings to the cashier desk.

The experience I gained in this job was the ability to supervise and communicate with other members of staff. Their was quite a lot of responsibility involved as I was intrusted with the nightly takings from the bar I was assigned to , which I had to deliver to the office safe at the end of each night. I also believe I gained a lot of experience dealing with customers who were generally intoxicated and some times very abusive.My duties in this position included providing a good service at the bar, supervising the staff that would be assigned to me. I would also have to communicate with any floor staff or Managers about any issues during the night.I would check the till floats at the start of the night and I would also cash up at the end of the shift. I would have to make sure that the cleaning of the bar was done to a certain standard, by the staff working with me and myself. I also had to carry out nightly stock checks at the beginning and at the end of my shift
