Part time. Perform staff pharmacist duties. Verify patient pharmacy order in Epic Willow Pharmacy system. Provide clinical pharmacy support to nurses, physicians and other hospital staff. Supervise pharmacy technicians.

Advise and assist McKesson Meds Manager Pharmacy application support team on the resolution of complex customer issues and escalations that could not be resolved by support analysts. Serve as gatekeeper between support and development for issues that could not be resolved by support analysts. Provide mentoring and education to HMM support analysts. Serve as a liaison for HMM support with services, development and product management as well as with other McKesson clinical products. Write custom rules, Crystal reports and SQL queries for use by support staff and directly by customers.

Directed development on product resource allocation and prioritization of issue resolution and product enhancements. Coordinated release planning with development, QA, Sales, support and education. Defined product functionalityProvided internal education on new releases. Assisted Sales in communicating capability and potential of HMM. Coordinated HMM changes with other McKesson clinical products. Researched requirements for enabling HMM for use in Canadian hospitals. Coordinated development and release of Canadian version of HMM. Guided beta sites through implementation process of McKesson Meds Manager Pharmacy (HMM) beta versions. Educated beta sites on new functionality. Educated McKesson employees including services, support and sales on new functionality. Troubleshoot issues with beta software and work with developers to find solutions. Provided assistance and guidance to HMM Services and Support regarding all versions of HMM. Assisted technical writers in preparing HMM documentation.

Coordinated the project of implementation of McKesson Meds Manager Pharmacy (HMM). Educate core users guided then through the system build, configuration. Advised customers on optimizing HMM for their specific site needsTaught classes for system end users. Provided SQL scripts to other ICs for data extraction and validation.

Apply clinical experience and knowledge to technical skills to assist McKesson customers with support of Paragon clinical applications. Troubleshoot complex issues with a focus on support of the Pharmacy application and as it interacts with Paragon Physician Orders (CPOE), Paragon Medication administration and other Paragon clinical, financial and patient management applications. Support skills include working with integration with pharmacy and hospital dispensing systems such as Pyxis and AcuDose-Rx. Provide education assistance to Paragon Pharmacy system administrators and users. Write SQL queries for analyzing patient and system data for use by other support staff. Assist other Support team members with clinical expertise as the application affects clinical decision and patient care. Work with other McKesson teams such as development, product management, QA and services to enhance, improve and promote Paragon applications.
