- Working to support responsible coloured gemstone mining in Zambia and Mozambique, through the integration and adoption of the IRMA standard.- Leading design and embedding of Management Systems across environmental and social themes upstream. - Working with Fabergé to sustain and deepen RJCcertification.- Working at the level of Gemfields Group to articulate and monitor our GHG strategy.

- Leading work with impact investors, private grant makers and corporate partners to incentivise responsible mineral production.- Managing a team of 6 mining engineers and ESG specialists to deploy a sector-leading approach to driving impact in the ASM sector.- Working from Nairobi and London, with travel across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

- Designing and leading strategy to maximize UK sales of Fairtrade cocoa. - Developing integrated supply chain strategies with global brands, which include responsible sourcing and investment targets to drive sustainability outcomes. - Providing support and supply chain insights (risk and impact data) commercial partners of all sizes using Fairtrade cocoa in their finished products, including retailers and independent brands. - UK technical lead for West African cocoa regulation, deforestation, child labour and living incomes.

- Developing and collaborating to implement a strategy for Fairtrade Gold at a category level.- Developing the UK market for Fairtrade Gold through commercial partnerships with manufacturers , independent designer/makers, global jewellery and luxury brands and technology companies.- Providing commercial partners using Fairtrade Gold with impact information, risk-mapping and supply chain insights.- Representing Fairtrade at industry events (e.g IJL/OECD), providing key-note talks and making the case for responsibly mined gold at industry and policy levels.- Supporting work to reposition the marketing messages attached to Fairtrade Gold at both a B2B and B2C levels- Managing a portfolio of $3m of institutional donor funding to coordinate mine development programmes in East Africa and Peru

- Designing and submitting funding proposals to institutional donors across a wide range of cash crops and mineral supply chains, including coffee, cocoa, gold and cotton. - This led to over $14m of grant finance received in support of Fairtrade's work ($5m as independent-lead, $9m as part of a network of fundraisers across the global Fairtrade system)- Managing programme funding received; coordinating global implementing teams, especially in East Africa, to support the implementation of innovative farm, mine and supply chain projects.- Reporting back to institutional donors, in line with donor timelines and expectations, including the European Commission, DfiD, The Big Lottery Fund, Comic Relief, The European Partnership for Responsible Minerals and more.- Supporting colleagues from Fairtrade's Commercial Team to generate programme content for pitch to - Visiting project sites across the world to monitor progress and deliver core programme outputs, including especially in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and a range of EU member states.- Line management responsibilities for a fundraising and programmes sub-team
