- Designing and submitting funding proposals to institutional donors across a wide range of cash crops and mineral supply chains, including coffee, cocoa, gold and cotton. - This led to over $14m of grant finance received in support of Fairtrade's work ($5m as independent-lead, $9m as part of a network of fundraisers across the global Fairtrade system)- Managing programme funding received; coordinating global implementing teams, especially in East Africa, to support the implementation of innovative farm, mine and supply chain projects.- Reporting back to institutional donors, in line with donor timelines and expectations, including the European Commission, DfiD, The Big Lottery Fund, Comic Relief, The European Partnership for Responsible Minerals and more.- Supporting colleagues from Fairtrade's Commercial Team to generate programme content for pitch to - Visiting project sites across the world to monitor progress and deliver core programme outputs, including especially in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and a range of EU member states.- Line management responsibilities for a fundraising and programmes sub-team
