PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee various aspects of studio operations, from full show technical to daily operations.* This includes:Managing a studio operations team (day to day running of the studio) managing the event operations team(contractors hired for larger broadcasts and events) manage and assist the production team(broadcast production employees and contractors, Technical Directors, CG Operators, Reply Operators, Camera Operators, Lighting Directors, Audio Engineers, Broadcast Engineers, Grip Contractors, Production Assistants)- Work directly with the studio coordinators in the planning and execution of all special events and activities. - Provide the leadership and motivation needed to exceed client expectations of service and professionalism in all areas. Typical work activities:- Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event or broadcast requirements- Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)- Agreeing to and managing a budget- Securing and booking a suitable venue or location- Ensuring insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to- Coordinating venue management, caterers, designers, contractors and equipment hire- Organizing facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media- Identifying and securing speakers or special guests- Planning room layouts and the entertainment program, scheduling workshops and demonstrations- Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings- Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly- Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently- Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders).

My responsibility is to make sure that is done swiftly and is as profitable as possible.
