My practice is focused on all aspects of working with existing buildings and sites, from heritage and conservation planning to adaptive use, spanning the 18th to the 20th centuries, with a particular focus on buildings of the mid-century modern era. Though this experience crosses a variety of building and client types, I have concentrated on works for institutions of higher learning and government, with a parallel and sometimes related specialty in academic and research libraries and archives. I frequently write and speak on architecture and preservation related topics, and have spoken at numerous colleges, universities, professional symposia and conferences throughout the Americas, Europe and Australia.Specialties: President, DOCOMOMO-US/New EnglandCo-Chair, Association for Preservation Technology Technical Committee on Modern Heritage (APT TC-MH), Preservation Officer Society of Architectural Historians
