• Being a stay at home dad called on the use of multiple skills and I found myself continually learning new things and facing varying challenges.• Organisation was crucial to our daily home routine in terms of juggling days at nursery, doctors’ appointments and day to day tasks. • Time keeping was also important; my daughter’s nursery charged for late arrivals and late pickups. It was crucial to time my day to work complimentary to my wife’s working hours. • As a parent multi- tasking is a key skill. As a stay at home dad I was responsible for my daughter’s every waking need, running and maintaining a home as well as reacting to any challenges that may have come my way on a daily basis. • I took and continue to have responsibility for our family finances. On an ad hoc basis I provide informal financial advice for friends and family due to my background in the financial sector; this gave and continues to give me a real sense of achievement. • Due to my financial knowledge and administration skills I would also help a local sole trader in these areas.

• The most significant responsibility of my role is to sort and filter large data sets to ultimately advise our clients of how to most effectively optimise their website. This embodies Kaiasm’s model of Demand Economics.• I am currently sorting website data from a large national DIY brand to optimise their website performance and customer search criteria, which provides valuable market insights in order to increase their revenue • Within this role I work effectively as both an individual and as part of a team. As a team we have a project that we all contribute towards therefore it is important that I efficiently complete my own task to a high standard and within a time frame to support the rest of the team. • I am currently using the Linux operating system for coding as well as Grey Google. I have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and use multiple formulas and create tables for the data sets. • Use of Linux based coding to auto generate and simple the relevant data pots before manually checking the results and adding any further results that we feel are relevant.

• This role required me to be dynamic in my approach to work due to the varied responsibilities on a daily basis.• Required to communicate with up to 7 IFA’s who had varying requirements. In addition I would deal directly with the clients who had specific enquiries and requests about their financial wellbeing.• My daily duties demanded a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to produce and upkeep financial spreadsheets and suitability reports.• Took the main responsibility for the submitting of business through the Swift system.• Due to the vast range of products offered under the St James’s Place umbrella I had to have a wide knowledge of the financial industry to enable me to carry out my duties and assist my colleagues, our clients and the IFA’s.

• Studied and passed my Chartered Insurance Institute exams within a two month period which required dedication and self-motivation to understand a complex area of expertise in a minimal amount of time • In addition to my studies I worked as an estate agent to gain relevant knowledge of the housing market.• I reported to the Area Manager, however this role required self-management as I was the only Mortgage Consultant in the office. Working within an estate agents office I also worked closely with the branch manager to ensure a cohesive working environment for all team members.• Organisation was key to performing this role effectively and to the highest standard. On a daily basis I had appointments with clients for either an initial fact find or to proceed with a mortgage application. In addition I continued on going mortgage applications and communications with clients and lenders.• This role required me to be able to learn and understand complex procedures and computer software packages within a short amount of time.• I was required to work within the parameters of new guidelines since the introduction of the Mortgage Market Review (MMR) alongside specific money laundering regulations therefore requiring keen attention to all areas of my work. • This role required me to adapt to varying changes on a day to day basis whether this be new regulations, differing requirements of lenders or customer knowledge of the mortgage application procedure.

• Create Yearly reports of customer’s assets and future potential earnings through their current investments. Where required I would create manual reports for more complex cases when price feeds are on a Foreign Exchange Market. • Liaise with colleagues from different departments to ensure customer’s needs are met and all investments are placed within the specified time period.• New Business - Cover the role of Senior SIPP Administrator during absence ensuring new business is completed from inception to completion requiring high organisation and clear communication skills. • Transfers Out – Cover the role of Senior Transfers Administrator during absence. Ensuring a smooth transition for the client/IFA making sure that the complex forms and documents are completed accurately and arranging trade and settlement dates between the relevant brokers.
