Dave Fleck has 35 years of hands-on experience in the machining industry:• implementing lean practices and process improvements,• implementing and managing an ISO 9001 quality system,• designing machining and assembly fixtures,• programming CNC machining centers, • setting up and running CNC machining centers, • as an inspector running and programming CMMs,• and managing a small machining business from a personnel and financial stand point.Coming up through the ranks and acquiring these skills allows Dave to critically look at a project and operation from many perspectives.In 2002, Dave acquired the business from the founder, his father, Jim Fleck who started the business in the basement of his Baltimore row home in 1967.Dave enjoys the problem solving and complexity of running a hi-tech business. He is always looking for ways to streamline the manufacturing cycle in order to help his customers save on their material costs while also delivering superior quality products.Dave resides with his wife, Anne O’Brien, and bulldog, Rozie, in historic Fell’s Point.
