For many years I have been deeply immersed in the IT world. From the days of programmable calculators and S100 Bus, through RPG/2, MS-DOS, OS/2, Win NT, Win 2K, Win 7, 8 and 10 and 11. I have written software from the Windows API-level up, done networking, desktop, comms, sctipting, and all levels of support, including senior 3rd level desktop support at DHS and council Technology One sites. I have extensive deep VBA and Powershell skills.I have extensive skills in analysis of all types, report writing, presenting to all levels of the business, from senior management all the way to training new starters. I have strong database design, analysis and usage skills.In afdition, I have excellent written and verbal English skills. I have worked in and have an understanding of science and technology, retail, banking, insurance, and government areas. Prior to my IT career, I worked as an industrial chemist at Nylex and CSIRO.Currently, I am looking for full time or contract support, development, admin or analysis work. I prefer remote or hybrid, but I'm flexible in this.
