David FOLIO is an associate professor of Robotics Engineering at the PRISME Laboratory, INSA Centre Val de Loire (France). He obtained a PhD in robotics and control from the University Paul SABATIER of Toulouse (France) in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was at the Inria Rennes-Bretagne Atlantique Center with Lagadic Team, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. As associate professor, he teaches electronics, electrical engineering, control and robotics. His main research interests are in the modeling and control of robotic systems mainly at the small scale, and mainly devoted to biomedical applications. In 2021, he obtained its Habilitation (HDR) on Magnetic Microrobotics for Biomedical Applications.
