The MLA market taskforce process, comprises representatives form Cattle Council of Australia, Australian Lot Feeders, Australian Meat Industry council, Sheep Meat Council,. The task force group has a peer group role to assist MLA in developing and agreeing the annual beef lamb and goat marketing plans and program in the traget regions.

Australian Cattle and Beef Holdings (ACBH) is part of the Lee Families, Australian Country Choice group and was formed in July 2015 to control and operate the new joint venture with the Acton Family in central and north west Queensland. ACBH operates a 65,000 cow breeding operation across two properties in north western Queensland with weaner cattle transferred to the four properties in central Queensland to be grown out for the Australian Country Choice supply chain.

The Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) is the Research & Development Corporation (RDC) that represents the Red Meat Processing Industry throughout Australia. AMPC invests in Research, Development and Extension (RD&E) and Marketing programs on behalf of meat processors. AMPC co-invests and delivers these services in partnership with Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA).AMPC’s mandate is to support (RD&E) and Marketing initiatives that are directed at improving the sustainability and efficiency of the meat processing industry.

The council was reformed under the joint responsibilities of the Qld Minister for Trade and the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry to provide a platform to engance the production and market opportunities for the Qld food industry.

Located in Kilcoy (south east Queensland) KIlcoy is a public listed Beef & Lamb processor with high profile and longstanding brand recognition and market acceptance in Japan, Korea and south Asia

The group comprised scientific and technical officers from CSIRO, University Southern Qld, Qld Dept of Environment & Heritage, Qld National Parks and Industry experts and consultants. The principal aim was to identify, quantify and then enhance the sustainability of the reportedly at risk Bilby populations across the pastoral lands of south west Queensland. This process was catalysed following the Qld governement's resumption of a large section of pastoral holding belonging to Stanbroke Pastoral Company's Davenport Downs and converting it to Astrebla Downs national park.

Owned by the AMP Society, Stanbroke was one of the worlds largest and leading beef cattle enterprises, inlolved in breeding, growing, feedloting, live export and branded beef. David designed, developed and launched the Diamantina beef brand to the export markets of south east Asia.

Owned by the Myer family, Laradoc group involved beef, lamb & wool production properties across NSW and Victoria. The export beef and lamb to south Asia under the Laradoc Gold Select & Countryside brands was commenced in 1990 after the establishment of Retail butcher shops in Albury, Wodonga and Melbourne. The production of crops ( Cereal, Alfalfa- Lucerne) suited to Horse and housed animals created the opportunity to develop processing, marketing and distribution channels in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore export under the Teangi Stockfeeds brand.

Croftonway Pty Ltd was the holding Company for the Countryside meat and deli businesses that operated across multiple sitec in Albury, Wodonga and Melbourne.

F W Hughes was a subsidiary company of the south Australian based GH Michell group. The operations at Kooba comprised commercial poll hereford cattle raising, large scale prime lamb growing and wool prodcution from the dual purpose Bond corriedale. Additionally Kooba was recognised for its singificant irrigated cropping (Corn & Cereal) and irrigated pasture operations. The group cpmprised other properties alomng the Murrumbidge river (Benerembah / Nullabor) and Laclhan river (Booberoi)

Nareen Pastoral Company was owned by the then Prime Minister of Australia, Hon J Malcolm Fraser. The property focussed on the production of seedstock Simmental cattle and fine woll merino sheep, with commercial opertaions of wool , beef and prime lamb production.
