David Foox (FOOX) is an attorney, film producer most notably a painter in the pop-symbolic tradition. In the field of law, FOOX has distinguished himself as an Intellectual Property (IP) attorney specializing in licensing and infringement enforcement. He specializes in telecommunications (VOIP, CDMA, GSM etc), pharma, and entertainment law. His amicus brief to the US Supreme Court on patent term extension for the NYIPLA and earlier (1998) Master's essays on the patentability of life forms (ie: Monsanto's patenting of bio material) further established FOOX as a forward thinker in IP.Foox's fine art has been shown at galleries throughout the world. Foox's unique pop-symbolic approach to painting caught the attention of collectors and dealers. Foox is committed to supporting charities that protect our planet, to that end he has donated several art works to Christie's Auction house in support of OCEANA.
