The Claris software platform is used by health care providers to manage acute care, chronic care, and social care patients at home. I am an early stage investor, and remain connected with the company.The first product was the Claris Companion. Designed for seniors, their families and caregivers, this is a unique, always-on tablet based communication and alert system. This has now been followed by the Claris Reflex for post-operative rehabilitation, and Claris Continuum for the remote management of chronic care patients at home.

International Water-Guard Industries (“IWG”) is an aerospace company specializing in aircraft potable water treatment equipment, aircraft water systems and components. Following its turn around in 2004-2005, the company was consistently profitable through the downturn of 2008 and continued to grow. In 2011, the acquisition of the aviation water heater business of Keltech Inc., MI. was executed.Major customers include Gulfstream Aerospace, Bombardier, Dassault Falcon, and Embraer, as well as airliner completion centers such as Lufthansa Technik, Airbus Corporate Jet Center and Jet Aviation. Most Boeing VIP airliners carry the company’s equipment.

Now Mattson Technology Canada, Inc, Vortek was a supplier of high-radiant energy systems used in space solar simulation and materials processing. The primary focus was commercialization of a radical new semiconductor manufacturing technology. Simulator/ material processing customers included NASA, ESA, Lockheed/ Martin, Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The company was acquired by Mattson Technology, CA in 2004, and the technology is now the core of Mattson's "Millios" millisecond anneal system.

Initially invited to advise the company on its aviation water product business, stayed on to develop the initiative as a growing portion of the company’s business. Became the executive responsible for aviation, developing initial market growth in the sector.

Airshow Canada was a major international aerospace tradeshow created to encourage the growth of the industry in Canada and British ColumbiaHe helped arrange the first North American appearance of the giant Antonov-225 transport and Mig-29 fighters and brought in the Breitling World Cup of Aerobatics.
