Spent two months assisting in experiments at UC Berkeley's Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Centre. Tests investigated the residual displacements of reinforced concrete highway bridge piers after earthquake loading. Work included;- installing the column specimens and associated instrumentation onto the earthquake simulator floor apparatus,- setting.
