The Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums is the peak body for 17 Regional Conservatoriums across NSW in Australia. A unique national and international model this network of for purpose Music Education organisations provides lifelong access to and participation in music and music education for communities across NSW. Regional Conservatoriums host exceptional early years music programs, are providers of Music Therapy Services, are the major providers of music education in their regions (within and beyond schools), provide community access to music and are major concert promoters. Collectively Regional Conservatoriums are one of the largest employers of music educators and musicians in NSW.

Responsible for all aspects of this NSW Conservatorium which brings about positive change through music. We have over 1500 enrolled students and participants every year, ranging from infants to seniors. We provide over 600 individual music lessons per week, work in 16 schools across the region, offer a vast array of music ensembles from the flagship classical BlueScope Youth Orchestra to community ensembles such as the Con Artists whose work celebrates street music from around the world. Our Jazz program is internationally regarded and we have Alumni from all our programs across the world. We are a proud provider of music therapy and are NDIS accredited. Responsible for developing Four Winds from an established Biennial Festival at Easter to developing a year round arts organisation with music at its heart. Worked on the 2021 Easter Festival with Festival Director Lindy Hume. During my time at Four Winds I established: a year-round program of concerts and events presenting some of Australia's finest artists; a significant music education program reaching hundreds of students in local schools; a Youth Festival; the Djinama Yilaga Choir headed by our Aboriginal Creative Producer Cheryl Davison. Also had the privilege to manage Natures Concert Hall - two exceptional, architect designed venues nestling in 25 acres of pristine bush-land. Also secured significant levels of funding from Federal and State Governments, as well as individual donors. I was engaged on a fixed term contract to establish a sustainable future for this significant arts organisation who I am delighted to say celebrated 100 years in 2020 and is now a resident company of Sydney Opera House. Sydney Philharmonia Choirs creates exceptional opportunities for people to come together and sing. It comprises a range of choirs and choral events and works regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as well as providing choirs for a whole range of performances and recordings across Australia and internationally.

I was responsible for the entire arts program at Dartington which has been a significant part of the UK's cultural landscape for over 60 years. Portfolio included Dartington International Summer School - a five week classical music school which presented 90 concerts in 5 weeks as well as a range of residential music courses: Dartington Space, exceptional performing art studios hosting an artists residency programme; Independent Cinema; programming of year-round events and festivals, including a celebration of the life of Tagore, Craft makers as well as an exceptional collection of early C20th British visual art and ceramics. Established, launched and managed the PRS For Music Foundation, UK's largest independent funder for new music in any genre. Since its launch in yr 2000 it has distributed 35million GDP in grants to support the new music sector in the UK. It is an award winning charity and has proven itself to be an essential part of supporting the development of new music in the UK - across genres.
