David Frank is the Founder and CEO of Stonehaven, a private capital markets FinTech operating system (broker dealer infrastructure + technology + data) and collaboration network (origination + distribution) for investment bankers and placement agents (Affiliate Partners) to support companies and investors. Mr. Frank leads the strategy, design and execution of all aspects of the Firm’s technology, data, compliance, legal, due diligence, finance, and operations architecture. Mr. Frank focuses on curating a highly engaged Stonehaven community and building key relationships across the broader finance and technology industries. Mr. Frank pivoted Stonehaven into a FinTech business in 2018 to create a next-generation platform to support the needs of capital market professionals. Mr. Frank founded Stonehaven in 2001, initially cutting his teeth raising capital and then building teams to orchestrate a broad range of investment banking and placement agent activity. Prior to founding Stonehaven, Mr. Frank worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Robertson Stephens in San Francisco.Mr. Frank has expertise across a wide range of disciplines including venture capital, real estate, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, infrastructure, M&A, secondaries, private placements and traditional asset management. Mr. Frank is a frequent speaker on topics including FinTech, capital markets, investment banking, alternative investments and entrepreneurship.Mr. Frank graduated with honors from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a B.B.A. Mr. Frank is a CFA charterholder and an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization where he helps lead the Investment Banking Network. Currently, Mr. Frank holds the Series 7, 24, 31, 66, 79 and 99 registrations with FINRA. Mr. Frank lives in Westchester, NY with his wife, son and daughter.
