David has spent the majority of his career in the Healthcare sector. His operational roles at Shoppers Drug Mart progressing to Senior Vice President helped him realize his goal of becoming an entrepreneur. In 2006 he purchased an equity stake in Motion Specialties, a national provider of complex rehab and home health care products. Under his leadership, along with the founders David Harding and Doug Kerr, the company grew by a factor of 3 to over $100 million in revenue with 30 locations Canada wide. In 2014 the company was purchased by Birch Hill Equity Partners, and he went on to become Chairman. In 2018, David purchased a significant equity stake in Inspiair Inc, a Home Oxygen and CPAP provider with a single location in Newmarket, Ontario. Under his leadership, the company expanded to over 18 locations in Ontario over the next 3 years by attracting the brightest and the best Respiratory Therapists available. The company continues to thrive after a purchase by a respiratory company.
