Incorporated in 2014, New Hudson Facades (NHF) is a custom architectural façade company specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of facades on world class buildings. NHF partners with leading architects and general contractors to provide innovative and challenging cladding solutions for some of the most architecturally significant projects being built today. Since our inception, we have designed and built a 180,000 sqft manufacturing facility, created over 100 jobs in the Philadelphia, PA area, and commenced design and fabrication work on 5 contracted projects, primarily located at Related’s Chelsea-based development project, Hudson Yards. Our in-house teams are composed of the industry’s top talent in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, and installation. NHF’s national headquarters are located in Linwood, PA, Minneapolis, MN and New York, NY. As a non-traditional start-up company, our parentage, local support and dedication to innovation ensures our success.NHF provides in-house design and engineering expertise. These technical teams have project experience with complex geometries, a variety of specialized materials and cladding systems, and the use of the most technically advanced engineering and modeling software and computational systems. These teams are comprised of individuals who have multi-disciplinary skills and knowledge including system design, structural engineering (aluminum, steel, glass, natural stone, and blast), building physics (thermal, lighting, and acoustical), BIM modeling and 3D visualization, and testing.The manufacturing capabilities of NHF include the integration of highly automated production engineering processes with the leading CNC fabrication and assembly technologies within the industry. With the use of state of the art equipment and technology, the various manufacturing processes and departments (QA/QC, procurement, logistics, machining, and assembly) are fully integrated.

I serve as an adjunct professor in the Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism. I assist with teaching the fundamentals of structures and a primer on structural engineering and design to architecture students.

Assist with teaching undergraduate courses in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering.

Working with the American Iron and Steel Institute, I am assisting the development of new mechanical principles and design codes for built-up and composite cold-formed steel structural components.I conducted experimental and numerical investigations on built-up cold-formed steel columns to understand their buckling interactions and collapse behavior; quantify composite action and as-constructed performance; augment design codes to incorporate semi-analytical modeling for more accurate strength predictions.

As part of the Students Tackling Advanced Research (STAR) Scholars Program, I worked closely with graduate students and engineering professors in Drexel's civil engineering department to conduct research on old bridge structures, successfully drafted first full-scale computer-generated model of large, local truss bridge using SAP2000, and acquired data for structural restoration.
