Now retired, I am a former Deloitte M&A partner whose recent years (since 2017) were spent running the Deloitte Offshore Financial Advisory Business in Mumbai, India. Over my 40 year career, I developed many strengths including:◼️Providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams in the delivery of high-quality services while meeting and exceeding key performance indicators;◼️Utilising a hands-on approach to leadership and a keen eye for emerging trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage;◼️Building trusted relationships with internal and external partners to position the offshore centre as a strategic, value-adding asset;◼️Experience of over 100 M&A transactions providing clients with trusted advice and expertise of the full deal life-cycle from origination, funding options, and post-acquisition implementation / value creation;Since 1991 I have played a key role in shaping some of Yorkshire's most significant M&A transactions with deal sizes ranging up to £700 million. My advisory expertise has been sought after private and family-owned businesses, private equity firms, and financial institutions.In 2017, I transitioned to oversee the Indian off-shoring business for financial advisory, assuming the role of CEO and spearheading the growth of the global off-shoring unit from 200 to 600 employees. Under my leadership, the off-shoring business achieved threefold growth and expanded into new business lines, and it continues to service Deloitte UK’s FA business and 30 other countries today.Finally, after 40 plus years, I am excited to announce my retirement. I'm looking forward to this new chapter of life, where I can focus on personal interests, spending time with loved ones, and pursuing passions outside of the professional realm. While I'm stepping away from the day-to-day grind, I remain open to connecting with former colleagues, sharing insights, and potentially engaging in part-time or consulting opportunities.
