David has over thirty years experience in architecture and has contributed as Project Architect to major Aged Care and Health projects. David is an Associate Director at Cottee Parker Architects, leading their Aged Care and Retirement Sector.He has kept abreast of the changes in the aged care industry and is on the Board of Benevolent Aged Care, Rockhampton. David also possesses extensive management skills having managed architectural practices for the past 20 years in Brisbane and Rockhampton.David is an exceptionally talented architect whose portfolio of skills have earned him an enviable reputation within the architectural industry. His good nature, matched with his outstanding architectural ability and business acumen, has facilitated his effortless transition into senior roles.One of David’s many strengths is his ability to engage with clients through all phases of a project. Through open communication and regular liaison with clients he ensures original, functional and viable design concepts are carried through to the finished product.David’s skills and experience have been recognised with several of his projects receiving commendations from industry bodies. His ability to successfully guide large-scale projects from preliminary design through to completion was particularly evident in his recent work on Japara Robina, a vertically integrated residential aged care facility.David has travelled overseas to study world best practice in seniors living design in The Netherlands, Switzerland, California and Arizona. He uses this experience to inform his designs and create innovative solutions for seniors living communities.
