After a long career in multiple roles with Rehau, I am seeking a role in continuous improvement or Operations Management in a production environment. I bring to the table a process-driven mindset, a bias for structure, strong P&L management, and an exceptional ability to analyze data.Upon earning a BS in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, I began my career as a Product Engineer for Textron Automotive where I focused on new product launches. Engineering roles at Rehau have included Quality Engineer, Paint Production Engineer, and Project (Production) Engineer. In addition to honing my engineering skills, these roles allowed me to learn all aspects of Rehau’s business. Because of this depth of knowledge, I have a thorough understanding of the production scheduling lifecycle and am able to work with any team to fix any issue without interruption to the customer. I moved into Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement roles next, where I improved response time to issues and quality and introduced new products with a 100% success rate. For 3.5 years, I served as Assistant Plant Manager – taking over during the Plant Manager’s absence. This opportunity gave me an even broader and deeper understanding of the supply chain, operations, and quality assurance. In unit manager roles for paint production and injection molding, I increased productivity, consistently came in below cost forecast, and improved the first-time pass rate for paint production. As a result of this varied experience, I bring strong project management skills and the ability to identify areas for improvement and to drive that improvement. I have consistently been brought into emergency situations around production delivery, where I’ve tackled a large number of these types of problems with 100% resolution with no production interruption. Life outside of work is important to me, too.
