The Executive Pastor is a member of the Senior Pastoral Leadership of Frisco First. This position provides management oversight to most of the church staff. This includes direct oversight of the education/discipleship and programming staff as well as most full time non-ministerial professional staff. The XP is responsible for overseeing the Discipleship/Education Ministry of the church. The Executive Pastor directly oversees Life Groups as well as other discipleship small groups of the church. This position requires a strategic thinker who also possesses the ability to execute the vision. This position also requires the ability to navigate complex leadership situations toward successful and healthy outcomes for the church, staff, and individuals. The Executive Pastor should possess experience leading and growing a healthy Small Group or Life Group ministry. This position requires managerial skills as this position oversees most of our church staff. The XP serves along with the Senior Pastor and Creative Arts Minister to create and refine overall vision for the church and execute it with effectiveness and grace. The Executive Pastor must be a strategic thinker, collaborator, and team builder. The Executive Pastor oversees the day-to-day operation of the church and manages most of the staff (directly or indirectly). The Executive Pastor will be the hands-on discipleship leader as he gives direct oversight to Frisco First's Life Group Ministry and is responsible for shaping its culture, recruiting, and training volunteer leaders, and further developing our discipleship strategy and processes. The Executive Pastor will also lead administrative areas, including finance, facility, and ministry calendaring, and will play a significant role in building projects, capital campaigns, and master planning. Collaboratively work through organizational, human, financial or spiritual challenges that may hinder the mission of the church.

The Executive Minister of Spiritual Formation serves as part of the Executive Leadership Team alongside the Lead Pastor and the Executive Minister of Operations. The EMSF is responsible for Adult Discipleship, Student Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Outreach and Care. This leader is responsible for overseeing the church ministry departments to ensure that the organizational mission, vision, values and strategies are carried out in the life of the church.
