I supported the Project Manager through the provision of field supervision, planning, quality monitoring, coordination and construction management capabilities. I carried out instructions and directions given by the Registered Mine Manager.Achievements: Construction, Co-ordination & Inspection of Access Jetty (900 metres) and A & B Dual Load-Out Wharf Berths (1400 metres), including monitoring of Topside mechanical, piping and structural steelwork, pile heads and rail girder module installation & alignment, potable & process water piping installation. Barge and marine activities associated with the construction of Access Jetty, Dual Load-Out Wharf Berths, Dolphins and navigation aid installations, including craneage, piling and support vessel operations. Co-ordination and preparation of heavy module installations from Big Lift vessels, including anchor setting and bedding. Successful completion of all mechanical installations and alignments. Successful completion of major tie-in and completions shutdowns. Process & Potable Water Pipeline installation and hydro-testing.

Supporting the Shutdown Manager and Project Manager in co-ordinating Greenfields / Brownfields shutdown tie-ins. Ensure shutdowns, project construction and de-construction works are carried out on schedule (Prima Vera & Project), meet with client compliance & standards and are delivered incident & injury free. Achievements: DSW Pumping Station Upgrade, including Co-ordination, Inspection and Hydro-testing of suction and discharge piping modifications. Upgrade of site fire, potable, raw water and slurry pipelines modifications, re-routing, upgrades and hydro-testing. Successful completion of minor & major mechanical shutdown tie-ins and refurbishments to material handling load out facilities, including Transfer Stations upgrades, Sample Stations upgrades, conveyor drive & GTU upgrades and crane lift studies.

Shuttle installations and refurbishments Completion of the Jetty abutment civil activities.

Provide operational and strategic advice on drilling and civil earthwork contracts project teams, assist with project management of ongoing drilling contracts, contract evaluating and planning, occupational health and safety, staff training and development, and assisting with tenders and evaluations.

Coordinate & manage Permit to Works (WAH, Confined Space, Hot Works, Isolations)• Forecast, tracked and maintained a corrosion refurbishment and dust suppression budget of $12m.• Prepared detailed proposals for capital expenditure including full financial, safety and environmental justification.• Conducted engineering reviews, cost estimations and tender evaluations. • Assisted engineering team with on-the-ground interpretations and troubleshooting across plant and projects.• Developed and implemented SWP’s and promoted a safety conscious work environment.• Developed a safe working environment for all employees and provided training for contractors, inspector and engineering team.Achievements: Successfully completed a Channel Marker refurbishment project ahead of schedule and signifantly under budget. Managed major shutdowns and completed ahead of schedule. Completed numerous Transfer Station & conveyor refurbishments and upgrades. Completed numerous marine structure refurbishments and upgrades.
