About David Bascom

I’ve loved creating things since I was a little kid. Legos were a major outlet for my creativity. And then I discovered coding...I was in Jr. High when my school opened their first computer lab. Our first assignment was to recreate a printed image in AppleSoft BASIC. I had never seen or written code before but it clicked....and fast!. I finished the assignment faster than anyone else and I knew that coding was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.There are two things that I love about coding. The first is seeing something you created come to life and being able to interact with it. From a simple C++ questionnaire using cin to drive a personalized experience to the latest JSomething that wows the industry because it enhances usability, provides intuitive navigation and leaves the customer with a positive overall experience.The second is, as a full stack developer, to create (or improve) a feature from top to bottom. There’s nothing more satisfying that knowing that something you created is still heavily used years later.I love learning new things. I've recently started learning node.js and Python. Mobile development and PHP are at the top of my to-learn list.Combining my desire to produce lasting, stable software and my love of learning and experimenting, I believe that I can positively contribute to a company's success.
