As Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank’s dedicated technology center in Cary, NC, I handle all operational and financial activities across the site. This includes business management, financial control and governance, PMO and metric reporting, communications and legal entity control. When I moved to DB Cary in 2012, we had a staff of only 150, which has grown to almost 1,000 today. Along with increasing talent at the Cary location, my goal was to provide transparency of the work done for internal and external stakeholders while establishing control and governance across the location. The next area of focus was ensuring smooth integration of staff into the bank and alignment with many different CIO groups as well defining a core set of key performance indicators and metrics to help manage the location. The current focus is to further drive the Cary value proposition across the global bank, remain cost conscious, and optimize the productivity of established teams.Prior to 2012, I worked in London for two years leading Deutsche Bank's Business Management team for Global Production Support with a portfolio of 2,500+ applications and $300M annual budget. Before moving to London, I worked out of NY/NJ leading Business Management for Global Operations and Finance IT with $120M annual budget and 500+ headcount. Before joining Deutsche Bank, I held controller positions with Merrill Lynch in technology and operations finance. Responsibilities spanned budget management across many different products and services, forecasting, analysis, and implementation of a global product costing and chargeback methodology.I also worked for Deloitte & Touche as a senior accountant. Our major client was pharmaceutical manufacturer Schering-Plough. I managed the preparation of financial statements and audits, as well as internal control procedures.It's amazing to watch the growth of DB Cary and be a part of enhancing its reputation as a technology center for Deutsche Bank.

Team was expanded globally eliminating thousands of hours of annual manual effort.- Manage Visa sponsorships and Green Card approvals for employees across the site, with a significant percentage of employees in scope. - Implemented hiring freeze following HB2 protest and Cary workforce rebalance program as well as RTB staff reductions. - Ensure smooth integration of staff into the bank and alignment across 50+ CIO groups. - Established collective objectives to drive the Cary value proposition across the global bank.- Introduced 6 employee relationship groups, including women on Wall Street, veterans, and LGBTQ. -
