Personal Summary: Thirty-eight year career dedicated to preserving and reinvigorating historic buildings of national significance, through both rigorous research and creative, sensitive design interventions, while showing great respect for the original architects’ and builders’ intentions. Extensive experience developing standards for historic building documentation, for building research and reports, and for the specifications for the repair of historic materials, and work on rigorous research efforts as well as built projects for National Register buildings and structures located within National Register districts in nine states and the District of Columbia. Leader of all of GWWO’s historic architecture projects since the firm’s founding, including many significant efforts involving historic renovations, master planning, restorations and interior rehabilitations.
