• Direct, manage and supervise revenue management and contract compliance for all agency contracts to include contract negotiations, budget plans and policy and procedures to ensure accurate and successful claiming and recognition of revenue.• Effective development and maintenance of professional working relationships with representatives for all agency contracts to include, but not limited to; Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Probation, local School Districts, County Supervisors and staff representatives, Community Care Licensing, San Bernardino County, Orange County and Riverside County. • Successful in managing contract compliance and the revenue department to assure accurate and timely submission of invoices and claims in accordance with the specific contractual standards and requirements. • Ensure accurate documentation, maintenance and communication of financial and programmatic reporting as required to effectively collaborate with program directors, CFO and CEO in developing and monitoring contract compliance, earned and projected revenue.• Effectively participate in the leadership of the executive management team to ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of program components as required by the varied contracts.• Provide routine training of clinical and billing staff to ensure appropriate documentation to maximize billing in accordance with policies and procedures outlined by funding entities.• Support agency teams in program audits by county and state entities, as well as the required annual financial audit.• Participate in establishing short and long-term resource goals as well as the development and implementation of Strategic Plan.• Participate in all meetings including, but not limited to fundraising meetings/events, Board Meetings, department meetings, and community events.

Greater Los Angeles Area

• Facilitate all contract administration, including fiscal and operational compliance, for the agency’s community mental health programs. Management of billing and accounting for CMHS, report to the Chief Financial Officer, with responsibilities for program management and analysis under the direction of the Director of Mental Health Services.• Supervision of the medical record department data entry coding and billing of service provided under various county contracts.• Monitor agency-wide compliance with contractual and regulatory requirement for documentation, billing, and audit service records for accuracy.• Assist CMHS Director in managing and analyzing program staff productivity and ensuring adequate service delivery to clients.• Work with leadership teams to create the annual fiscal budget per department.• Assist CMHS Director in coordinating quality assurance, database development, resource support and staff training and review activities.

Greater Los Angeles Area

• Oversee all accounting functions for the firm, including job cost accounting, billing, payroll and benefits, general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for four locations.• Development of all project cost accounting; including collaboration with eight project managers to ensure all job costs including labor, reimbursable expenses and sub-consultants were approved and assigned to the appropriate projects in accordance with the individual contract specifications.• Collaborated with management team to analyze department specific performance on a monthly basis to ensure profitability for the firm.• Assist with business development to include the preparation, distribution of Statement of Qualifications and proposals issued.• Supervise the processing of accounts payable. Confirmation of all general ledger accounts and costs pertaining to specific projects posted in accordance with their approved contracts.

Manage all financial aspects of the firm, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly invoicing, collections and the owners’ personal assets.
