Engage is an independent Defence focused Technical Consultancy business focusing on logistics, logistics Information Systems, engineering and Project Management. Business Development role focused on Defence & Security Sector. Managed key accounts including Harmonic's largest single account delivering 30%+ of the Companies revenue.

Software Asset Management (SAM). A member of a 4 man SAM Team working to determine the level of risk to which a government department is exposed in license compliance for 200+ applications/systems being transferred to a recently selected Delivery Partner. Covering all vendors, including ORACLE, Microsoft and IBM and all licensing approaches including Processor, Named User, Named User Plus and PVU (IBM) metrics. The team has already identified significant efficiency opportunities and is working towards establishing the most efficient licensing baseline for applications/systems in scope.

P&L responsibility for the Companies 4 Business Units with an aggregate turnover of c£20M. Led the restructuring of the Company followed by the development and implementation of key processes to improve operational efficiency. The restructured company has delivered significantly greater net profit with much improved cash flow. Prior to this Director level appointment led the Logistics Division and before that the Logistics Business Area. While leading the Logistic Business Area increased revenue and net profit by more than 100% within 2 years. This was the springboard to the subsequent formation of a Logistics Division in 2009. Delivered full operational capability within 4 months, including business re-engineering, recruitment and training of Business Managers and a Division Support Team. This task was undertaken while sustaining current contracts without any adverse impact on revenue or margin. In its first year of operation the Division was the most profitable within the company.
