Chief Of Staff And Director Of Strategic Natural Resources Issues Staff
Advised and assisted the agency Chief and helped lead the efforts and management of staff of 12,500 employees, nearly $3 billion budget, over $1.5 billion program allocations and policy issues including congressional earmark management. Served in a variety of roles including Departmental representative on critical issues such wildlife, drought, Migratory Bird Conservation Commission, annual update of the President’s Wetlands Executive Order, the Great Lakes, South Florida Ecosystem Task Force, Coral Reef Task Force, the Klamath Basin Task Force, biofuels, climatechange, and preparation for the next Farm bill. Advised administration officials on the interests and initiatives of the agricultural, wildlife/sportsmen, and conservation/environmental organizations and interests.
