At Harman International I write software for embedded video devices. My recent projects involve bringing up custom hardware using Linux. I modify U-Boot/SPL, the kernel, write drivers, and application code. Most of my development is in C or C++. I use Python, Ant, and other scripting languages for build automation.I have also worked on smaller RTOS's and am very comfortable doing low level development and debugging. My most recent processors include TI AM335x, Freescale i.MX6, and Freescale ColdFire processors.

At Automation Support I worked as a Systems Integrator Consultant for manufacturing facilities. I consulted with clients to create new SCADA systems and improve existing automation processes.My work included writing Ladder Logic on PLCs/PACs and collecting data in MySQL databases. Analysts used the collected data to improve efficiency and forecasting. I also tuned PID Loops, trained client employees, and created best practices documentation.
