I focus on the next level, to identify areas of improvement that deliver’s productivity results for the business and extra value to the customer, whilst continuing to manage mine and my teams daily tasks with organised planning and efficiency.In my current role, working as a Project Manager for Quote, Production and Delivery of RTU solutions, including the bespoke build and delivery of RTU and Energy control panels for both DNO's and site project engineers. My role includes quote from design, production scheduling, cost control, SAP administration, GM targets. I support site engineers to achieve project delivery and execution to deliver solutions to customers requiring turnkey and bespoke energy management and Control systems and devices for both short and long term energy management solutions.In my previous role as the Plant Manager of an IT rack manufacturing business, I was responsible for all aspects of the management of the plant, to ensure results on safety, quality, service & cost. This includes a responsibility to manage Manufacturing Cost’s & Cash competitiveness, People & Environmental protection, Engagement and Efficiency and Customer experience improvement.Daily, I was responsible for all on-site Safety and Environment requirements, management of the P&L, Supply chain planning, order prioritisation, forecasting, people wellbeing, training & communication to the business upper management team, where I present current performance results and improvement plans, including actions to resolve ongoing issues.I project managed the restructuring of the factory with the installation of a highly sophisticated CNC machine to improve productivity according to Safety and Lean principles, including the restructuring of the assembly lines and relocation of the warehouse whilst achieving a ROI in 2 years as presented in the first project proposal. This enabled us to achieve a manufacturing capacity of £7M+ in gross sales annually on a single shift, up from £5M.I am IEMA trained in the management of ISO14001, and have successfully passed external audits for continued certification since 2014 to the present date.I like nothing more than walking my dogs in the countryside, playing golf, watching my favourite football team and dining out with my wife (in no particular order) 😀
