A mechanical engineer by trade, David is now a highly experienced technical consultant and business development manager for a variety of automotive, motorsport and engineering companies. Having progressed through his chosen career, from shop floor to boardroom, he is as much at home working on the tools as he is negotiating a multi-million dollar deal on an international scale.Quite simply, David’s success has come by knowing his trade and being able to communicate his expertise to colleagues, clients and their customers. His technical know-how and experience allows him to confidently provide advice, with history showing that his determination and focus on core business issues has given him a reputation for possessing the Midas touch.David specializes in the automotive and motorsport sectors, in particular those that involve precision engineering: engine building, transmission manufacturing and suspension dynamics. As well as production and sales, he is also involved with a number of vehicle owners, competitors and teams, who take advantage of his vast experience and expertise in these areas. David’s networking skills have allowed him to develop contacts in many areas of business and establish a huge database of valuable contacts the world over. David takes after his late father, who was an innovator and entrepreneur and therefore possesses the family’s ‘can do’ attitude DNA. His father was the inventor of an award winning and highly acclaimed turntable, which he patented and made world famous in the 1960s and, continuing the tradition, David is also a qualified and respected audio engineer. Being regarded as an expert in his field of Harman BSS Soundweb DSP calibration & system design, David works along side venues to offer streamlined methods of achieving great costs savings and world class results. Working remotely with clients across the globe undertaking many key venues, David enables clients to take control of their audio systems and offers clients viable routes too save costs on new build projects, assured that the end results will be market leading and focused on customer satisfaction and most importantly, on or under budget. As well as possessing great business acumen and being more than capable of leading from the front, David enjoys nothing better than rolling up his sleeves .
