David works directly with inmates at the Capricornia Correctional Centre to support their ongoing educational needs.This role involves the assessment of inmates and seeks to align them with education to suit their current and future educational needs, with a focus on rehabilitation of prisoners with a view to their prospects upon release and working towards a reduction in recidivism.David works closely with a number of external providers in the education sector including; high school education, literacy and numeracy tutors, VET training providers, and a number of higher education providers including various universities in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia.
