This year I moved to industry in Spain. I started working on a fascinating project about skin microbiome at First and Last project S.L. Indeed, I started a lecturer position of Legal & forensic dentistry at the Universidad Católica de Murcia ... pretty excited about exploring new fields!!!I am a Forensic Geneticist with extensive experience in human forensic molecular identification and chemistry. Strong background in Human Genetic Identification (HID), Crime Scene Investigation, and Non-Human Forensics with emphasis on forensic plant science. I received my initial training in forensic DNA testing (1996-1997) with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) DNA Unit in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Over a period of 10 years I have served as a forensic scientist, crime scene investigator, forensic DNA analyst and crime laboratory director in Buenos Aires, Argentina. During 12 years, as a professor of Forensic Science, I served as a consultant for several law enforcement agencies, the Texas Education Agency and a top tier law firm in United States.I provided consulting services and expert witness testimony in a wide array of human and non-human identity testing including homicide, rape, sexual assault, robbery, theft, touch DNA, mixture analysis, forensic botany (including cannabis genetic identification), and crime scene investigation and reconstruction. I provided consultation and testimonial support to attorneys and law enforcement agencies in criminal and civil matters.I also provided academic consulting services related to research and curriculum development (including online teaching) in Forensic Sciences to Universities in Europe, US and Latin America.
