I am responsible for managing the delivery of all health and safety services the company undertakes for in-house projects and on behalf of clients.This includes executing the roles of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) for engineering projects. The projects the company undertakes include assignments in the drinks, pharmaceutical, chemical and electronic industries. I have worked with a variety of clients across a number of sectors to develop bespoke systems for their safety requirements. This varies from implementation of OHSAS 18001 based systems, to more task specific solutions. I have been working for a range of clients in different industries and types of projects as PSDP since 2006. With our engineering department we have developed HAZOP and design risk assessment systems which incorporate the best principals of 'safety in design'. Show less

Facilities Supervisor for the Michael Smurfit School of Business (UCD)

I held several positions during his time with UCD, and worked predominantly in the safety office. This role involved the operational management of the site wide fire detection systems, maintenance of the fire extinguisher systems, staff training/development, liaison with all University Departments, minor projects, and provision of an on-call service. In this role I had had risk management responsibility including accident investigation, claims management and insurance renewals.
