I have been a professional CGI artist for 30 years, first within the games industry, creating VFX and animated cutscenes for projects from Lego and Eidos interactive, latterly as a Director, Animation Director and a creative working within the broadcast industry. For the past 18 years I have been fortunate enough to Write, Storyboard, Direct and Create hundreds of episodes of kids tv and develop a number of successful worldwide brands. In 2012 I started Jamba Entertainment Limited, working with clients to produce high quality content and offering creative services and advice.I have particular expertise in the development of children’s entertainment properties, from initial concept, narrative, look and character development through to directing and animation production. I have spent the past few years developing realtime rendering pipelines and virtual reality experiences in Unreal Engine.On the software front, I am familiar with Maya, 3dsMax, Unreal Engine, Substance Designer and Painter, Zbrush, Marvellous Designer, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Toon Boom Storyboard ProI am currently employed as Technical Director – Render and pipeline at A productions.
